Course Details
Web Design
Duration 2 month

Graphic design is the process of visual communication and problem-solving through the use of typography, photography and illustration. The field is considered a subset of visual communication and communication design, but sometimes the term "graphic design" is used synonymous. Graphic designers create and combine symbols, images and text to form visual representations of ideas and messages. They use typography, visual arts, and page layout techniques to create visual compositions. Common uses of graphic design include corporate design (logos and branding), editorial design (magazines, newspapers and books), advertising, web design, communication design, product packaging and signage. Generally, in the field of Graphic Design Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign & Macromedia Freehand use to create the power full design. After learning those applications the designer knows how to convert the client imagination into design. By the help of Graphic Design we can change imagination into reality.

Graphic designers typically do the following: Meet with clients or the art director to determine the scope of a project. Use digital illustration, photo-editing software, and layout software to create designs. Create visual elements such as logos, original images, and illustrations that help deliver a desired message. Graphic designers can work in a variety of environments. Whilst many will work within companies devoted specifically to the industry, such as design consultancies or branding agencies, others may work within publishing, marketing or other communications companies. Increasingly, especially since the introduction of personal computers to the industry, many graphic designers have found themselves working within non-design oriented organizations, as in-house designers. Graphic designers may also work as freelance designers, working on their own terms, prices and ideas.

Students should have a general background in using a computer.
